British MKV Gas Mask & Contents

A 1940 dated MKV gas mask with a 1940 dated haverack. The MKV was introduced in 1939 and has a special molded area on the left check to allow a mircophone to be attached. This example comes with a MKV lens dimmer which is also dated 1940. A full tin of No2 anti-gas ointment and a packet of 1942 dated anti-gas shields, which where commonly used by troops as anti-dust and sand shields.
