German MP40 Submachine Gun. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )
For sale to Customers outside the European Union Only. The German MP40, one of the most iconic submachine guns of WW2. This is a nice early example which is dated 1940, with a slab sided magazine housing which in 1941 was discontinued in favour of a ribbed magazine housing. It also has the early MP38 style cocking handle which also changed to a double safety push out cocking handle in 1941. This example is not matching numbers and the upper and lower halves are two different manufacturers. However upper and lower parts are of 1940 manufacture. The lower half has the makers code '122" for C.G.Haenel. The upper half is maker marked 'bnz" for Steyr-Daimler Puch AG. The magazine is also the early slab sided pattern and is maker marked 'fxo" for "C.G.Haenel". This MP40 is a pre-1995 deactivation with a full working action. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
