Give As The Day Print

This is a limited addition print produced in 2002 by artist William S Philips. The print represents an overt symbol of the Allied might, the B-17G, it is a subtle indication as the direction of the war. The plane carries no camouflage paint, since paint added weight, which cost speed and fuel. Stationed in Northampsted between April 1944 to June 1945, this B-17G is from the 398th Bomb Group, 602nd Bomb Squardon. The crew members ardent prayer was "Give us the day". The print comes with the Artist's authenticity certificate. 550 of this edition size has been produced.
