The RM-52 remote control unit was introduced in 1944 to replace the more bulky RM-29 remote control unit. It was more compact then RM-29 . It allowed for a radio to be connected to the phone net by attaching EE8-Field phone. This example is in extremely good condition and maker marked 'Silman Manufacturing Corporation and dated 1945.
