U.S. Marine Corps Officers Field Bag

This is the 2nd pattern Marine Corps officers field bag which is more commonly referred to as a musette bag. This example is dated 1943 and maker marked S.Forehlich.Co. The outside side pocket flap has a hole, otherwise the bag is in very good condition. When examining the inside of the bag i found a name tag and and a period travel instruction sheet which i believed belonged to the original owner of the bag and have decided to keep it all together.
