U.S. Army 3rd Pattern Tropical Jacket.

This is a 3rd pattern tropical jacket retaining nearly all of its original insignia. The right shoulder has the soldiers original unit, 173rd Airborne Infantry, the left shoulder is his secondary unit of the Quartermaster Centre and school. The original owner was a highly trained individual and has his parachutists jump qualification and air assault badges plus his riggers badge for parachute combat and supply. The collar has the Quartermaster branch insignia. However his rank collar badge probably an officer is missing from his collar as well as his name tag. The jacket is in very good condition retaining its size, contract and instruction labels. The contract label gives the date of manufacture as 1970 and the manufacturer's name "Henderson MFG Co". The jacket is size stamped small.
