East German NVA Water Bottle Set

This is a NVA water bottle set consisting of a plastic water bottle, aluminium cup and comes with the rarer Flachentarnmuster ( area pattern ) camouflage cover. Flachentarnmuster was the earliest camouflage pattern worn by the MDI and NVA and was issued between 1956 to 1967. This camouflage pattern is also known as Kartoffelmuster ( patato pattern ) and Blumentarn ( flower pattern ). Flachentarn was influenced by the WW2 Soviet era Amoeba camouflage pattern.
