This is the rarer AK47 two cell magazine pouch in the Flachentarnmuster camouflage ( area pattern ). Flackentarmuster is the earliest camouflage pattern worn by the MDI and the NVA and was issued between 1956 to 1967. This camouflage pattern is also known as Kartoffelmuster ( patato pattern) and Blumentarn ( flower pattern ). Flachentarn pattern of camouflage was influenced by the WW2 Soviet era Amoeba camouflage pattern.
