WW2 German Aircraft F.K.5 Compass
This is from a downed Luftwaffe plane which would have either been a JU.87B Stuka Dive bomber or a Messerschmitt 109E fighter. Later models would have had the F.K.38 compass. The example has nice clear markings F.K.5 H2013, FL23211. It is maker marked W.Ludolph AG, Bremerhaven. The compass retains its fluid however the actual direction ring has been knocked off its axis, due to the aircrafts impact. Still a nice display piece.
