German M40 Camouflage Helmet
This is an M40 helmet which retains traces of its camouflage finish which may possibly for Italy, North Africa or the mediterranean. The inside of the shell has a ruff finish which has obscured the shell's maker, size and batch number. The liner has two names, one of which has been crossed out. The chistrap is still attached however it has rather dried and is quite fragile.
