Deactivated German K98 Rifle

This is a EU/UK deactivated specification rifle which is dated 1940 and has the makers letter code 'dou" for Waffenwerke Brunn AG. This example has been used by the Norwegians after 1945. The Third Reich proof markings are still visible, however the Swastikas have been dotted out. I have rebuilt this example with original German WW2 parts which are all correct for 1940 production model. The receiver and is "SS" stamped. However i suspect these are not original markuings.
