British R.A. 40 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse

This is a 40 pattern battle dress blouse which has the signal of the Royal Artillery Costal Artillery School and the Royal Artillery branch of service strips. The right sleeve also has service chevrons for 4 years service. This example is in excellent condition, retaining its contractors label, which give the size 9. The contractors name "Templeton & Sons" and the year of manufacturer 1944. The BD is also stamped with the War Department year letter acceptance code 'M" for 1944.
