British Armoured Fighting Crew Helmet

This is an extremely nice example of an armoured fighting crew ( AFV ) helmet which retains its original finish and a unit flash on the side of the shell, in the form of white triangle which appears to have been darkened, if so its it would identify the unit as the 1st Infantry Division. However i can not confirm this and may be a different unknown unit. The helmet comes with a 1945 dated MKII liner which is maker marked "CCL" for Christy & Co.LTD. and a 1945 dated chinstrap. Post-War examples come with a quick release press-dot liner attachment have the MKIII chinstrap.
