For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. One of the most iconic pistols form both the World Wars. The German P08 Luger. This is a 1936 dated example which is 85% matching numbered, except for the side plate, trigger spring and magazine. It has the makers code 'S/42" for Mauser and a mixture of Reichswehr and Third Reich era proof markings. Reichswehr proof markings continued to be used in conjunction with Third Reich proof markings to the late 1930's. This example comes with the rarer black bakelite magazine base cap, where majority of Third Reich made Luger magazines tend to have an aluminium base cap. The magazine is maker marked "fxo" for C.G.Haenel and proof marked with a waffenampt. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
