British 1856/68 Yataghan Bayonet

This is a 1856/58 yataghan bayonet, which is unit marked to the Royal Garrison Artillery ( R.G.A.). and has the rarer metal scabbard for officers where NCO's and other ranks had the leather scabbard. The blade has Birmingham proof markings and the scabbard has Enfield proof markings. This is an age restricted item. Proof of age must be provided.
