German MP18/Artillery Luger Drum Magazine

This is a 32 round drum magazine originally designed for use with the Artillery Luger. However it was also used on the MP18 submachine gun. This example is the 2nd pattern magazine and is more commonly referred to as the Snail Drum magazine, due to its resemblance to the creature.The magazine is maker marked B/N for Bing of Nuremburg and has the serial number 178797. It would have been produced between 1916 to 1917 and is in excellent working condition
