U.S. M1 Fixed Bale Helmet & Camouflage Netting
A very nice example of a an M1 Fixed bale front seamed Helmet which comes with a period camouflage netting. The shell retains all of its original green finish and webbing chinstrap with the early blackened brass buckle with raised features.The heat number is barely visible on the inside of the shell. It comes with the 2nd pattern low pressure plastic liner which is complete with its suspension straps, sweat and neck bands.Which would have been produced between early 1943 to June 1944. It also has its leather chinstrap. The liner is maker marked with the letter "W" over an oval, which identifies the manufacturer as Westinghouse Electric Company.
