U.S. M1 Swivel Bale Helmet
This is front seamed swivel bale helmet with a manganese rim, which would have been produced between November 1944 to August 1945. The helmet is in untouched condition with a clear heat number on the inside of the shell. It comes with a 2nd pattern low-pressure liner which would have been produced between early 1943 to June 1944. The liner has been period over painted black and is complete with all its suspension straps, neck and sweat bands. The liner is maker marked with the letter "W" over an oval which identifies the maker as the Westinghouse Electric Company. It also comes with its leather chinstrap with a unusual buckle which is not standard issue.
