Australian No1 MKIII* Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is a 1941 dated No1 MKIII* rifle more commonly known as the SMLE ( Short Magazine Lee-Enfield ). It is maker marked Lithgow and is in very good condition. It appears to have been refurbished during its service life as the butt has two sets of dated 1942 and September 1945. The Australian and Indian armies, unlike the British and Canadians retained the No3 rifle to the late 1950's. In fact the Indians where using it to the No3 to the 1970's. For Non EU Sales Only.
