SA Wehrmannschaften Belt Buckle

This is a rare Sturm- Abteilung Wehrmannschaften ( Internal Defence or Home Guard ) belt buckle. The SA Wehrmannschaften was created as a result of a special decree on 19th January 1939, who's main role was home guard duties and supporting the police. Prior to 1943 the SA Wehrmannschaften wore the standard brass SA belt buckle. However in 1943 a new buckle was introduced to only be worn by the SA Wehrmannschaften, which this is an example of. It is maker marked "M4/22" which identifies the manufacturer as Christian Theodor Dicke.
