German Cardboard Rifle Ammunition Container
This is a rare cardboard ammunition container which would have carried 180 rounds of 7.92mm in twelve 15 round cardboard boxes. The container would have been in a wooden ammunition box which could carry a number of the these ammunition containers. This example retains its label and which dates it to 1939 and has 12 reproduction empty 15 round boxes.
