This is a Wehrmacht vehicle identification flag which have been tied down on the back or top of vehicles to identify themselves to Luftwaffe aircrew, the ground units where friendly forces. This example measures 6ft x 3ft, 9" ( 183cms x 115cms ) and is single sided.
