British Matching Numbers No1 MKIII* Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is a 1918 dated No1 MKIII* Short Magazine Lee-Enfield rifle manufactured by Enfield. It is matching numbered and in very good condition. It is extremely rare to find a untouched matching number SMLE as the majority have been re-built over the decades. The SMLE entered service with the British army in 1908 and remained in service to 1945. However by 1941 the No4 rifle was introduced and started to replace the No3 with units in the UK . However the No3 remained in use withs the army in North Africa to 1943 and in the far east to 1945. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
