U.S. M1936 Field Bag & Shoulder Strap

The M1936 field bag, more commonly referred to as the Musette bag, was issued in lieu of the M1928 haversack to officers and other personal such as paratroopers and armoured crews. This example is dated 1942 and is maker marked "Des Moines Glove & MFG.Co". The shoulder straps is also dated 1942 and has a faint maker's stamp. The bag and shoulder strap both have a personal service number.
