The Colt New Service revolver supplied to the United Kingdom as a government contract between the United states and the British War Department as a substitute weapon during World War 1. The revolvers where all chambered to the British .455 round and are stamped New Service .455 Eley. The Colt New Service revolver was popular amongst British officers many of which brought them as a private purchase item prior to WW1. Colt supplied 60,000 revolvers to the British government and remained in service with the British army to 1945. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
