Reproduction Army M42 Helmet

This is in fact an original helmet, which retains an original army decal. However the shell has been repainted leaving the original decal visible. The shell has the batch number D387, size stamped 63 with the maker's code 'NS" for Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke AG. The liner is also original and size stamped 58. The chinstrap is reproduction.
