German Cavalry K98 Bayonet Frog

This is the cavalry bayonet frog for the S84/98 bayonet, more commonly referred to as the K98 bayonet. The cavalry frog differs from the standard bayonet frog by the additional pommel retaining strap. From 25th January 1939, the cavalry bayonet frog was issued to service branches.
