German K98 Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

This is late-war example of the K98 rifle, more commonly referred to as the Kriegs-modell ( War-Model ), which has press-steel fittings and the tubular butt washer replaced with the hole in the butt plate. This still allowed for the firing pin to be removed from the safety mechanism. This example is not a Russian capture or matching numbered. However it is correct for the late-war K98. The Third Reich proof markings ( Waffenampts ) are intact, with clear swastikas. The rifle has the three letter maker's code "bcd" for Wilhelm-Gustloff-Werke and dated 1944. The magazine plate is marked with the maker's three letter code 'byf" for Mauser. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
