British Deactivated L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle

This is a 1959 dated L1A1 self-loading rife more commonly referred to as the SLR. This example is retains its wooden furniture the majority of the SLR tended to have their wooden furniture replaced with black plastic during its service life. This particular SLR was manufactured by Birmingham Small Arms. The cocking handle has been replaced and is dated 1964 and is maker marked with the letter "E" within the letter "D" for Enfield. Besides the cocking handle this SLR is matching numbered. It is deactivated to the current EU/UK deactivation and the bolt carrier moves under spring pressure. U.K. Sales Only.
