U.S. M4 Bayonet

This is a M4 bayonet was for use with the M1 carbine. However this example has had the muzzle ring removed, so it could only be used as a fighting knife. The M4 bayonet's design was influenced by the M3 fighting knife, which became the basis for U.S. bayonet developed for 20 years with the blade design being used on the M4, M5, M5A1, M6 and M7 bayonets. This example of is an early production example with leather grips, later examples had plastic grips. It is maker marked Camillus and comes with an M8A1 scabbard maker marked "PWH" ( Philadelphia Work Home ). This is an age restricted Item. Proof of age must be provided.
