British WW1 Inert No15 Grenade

The No15 grenade which was nicked named the cricket ball grenade and was introduced in July 1915. The No15 was short lived and was withdrawn from service by November 1915 due to a number of problems the grenade suffered from. It was found the explosive charge was to great and produced smaller than expected shrapnel. It was also consider to big to throw effectively. The fuse also tended to fail when conditions where damp which resulted in the grenade failing to explode. This example is in good condition. U.K. Sales Only.
