This is an exact replica of one of Hollywoods greatest stars John Wayne's actual Colt M1875 Peacemaker., which was the revolver given to him by Colt. The majority of John Wayne's western films he carries a ivory handle revolver. The replica was produced with permission from John Wayne's family and was first market on 10th May 1992. Later examples don't have the wall hanger or John Waynes signature on the back strap. The replica is extensively engraved featuring the film which propelled John Wayne to stardom "Stagecoach" it has imitation ivory grips, cocks dry fires and can be stripped down.
