Swedish Husqvarna M1907 Pistol & Holster ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

This is a near mint example of the Husqvarna M1907 pistol which served the Swedish armed forces for several decades. It is in fact a licensed copy of John Brownings FN M1903. Sweden originally adopted the FN1903 manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium in 1907 purchasing 10,000 pistols. However during WW1, German forces occupied the FN factory completely cutting off Sweden's supply firearms and spare parts. The Swedish government decided to secure their own supply by contracting a domestic arms manufacturing company Husqvarna Vapenfabrik who started to produce their version in 1917 and remained in production to 1942. The total output was 94,000 pistols for outnumbering the original Belgian output. When production began in 1917 Husqvarna Vapenfabrik designated the pistol as the M1907 after the year of the original Belgium contract. This example was manufactured between 1930 to 1942.
