For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is a nice example of a 1915 dated No1 MKIII Short Magazine Lee-Enfield ( SMLE ) rifle. The rifle is maker marked LSA.Co for London Small Arms Company which produced high quality military rifles for the British army from 1866 to 1935. LSA where recognised for producing the best quality rifles due to their high craftsman standards the company only produced approximately 250 rifles a week compared to the high output by Enfield and BSA. This example retains it's original volley sights and a unit marked brass butt disc "AS.QTC.403". Which indicates this example could have been issued to a Commonwealth nation. Australia or Canada. A.S. stands for Army School, The Q could possible stand for Queensland or Quebec and the T.C. for Transport or Telegraph Corps. The 403 is the rifles rack number. It is also stamped DP/EY which stands for Drill Purpose and Emergency Use. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
