This is the cap badge worn by the Bedfordshire Regiment, which was formed in 188. The regiment was reformed in 1919 to the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire regiment in recognition for the men of Hertfordshire who served with the Bedfordshire regiment during the Great War.
