This is the second pattern arctic issue overshoes with a rubber enclosed sole and a water resistant canvas top. The arctic overshoes where continued to be issued as a substitute to the to the a new arctic issue Shoe Pac to the end of the war. This example retains the maker's contract label "United States Rubber Products Inc", size stamped 7W ( Wide Foot ) and dated November 1940.  read more
