South African MKII Helmet
A nice example of a South African MKII helmet retaining its original desert paint scheme, which has a ruff textured finish. The rear of the visor has three small holes which allowed a cotton neck protector to be attached protecting the wear from sunburn. The MK1 liner is maker marked Jager Rand and dated 1942.
