Czech M32 Luftschutz Helmet
This is a Czech M32 helmet which was re-purposed by the Germans for use by the Luftschutz ( Air Raid Protection ). The helmet has been repainted Luftwaffe grey/blue and a Luftschutz decal applied. The luftshtutz paint scheme and decal have worn off the shell exposing the original Czech olive green finish. Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Pith Helmet
A 1st pattern pith helmet with the Luftwaffe eagle and national tricolours. The pith helmet appears to have suffered with some water damage and the leather trim has frayed. This example is stamped with a RB number ( Reichsbetreibnummer ), which was introduced in 1943 replacing the numbered date stamp. However this is a anomaly as the first pattern pith helmet was officially phased out from 1942. read more
