This is a very good example of a Light Weight gas mask which was introduced in September 1943, replacing the General Service gas mask. This example is dated 28th February 1944 and comes with its filter which is dated 25th April 1944. It also comes with a No5 ointment tin, dated January 1943. This is the rarer Canadian first pattern Despatch riders helmet which differs from the British first pattern Despatch riders helmet which was made from toughened papiermache and was known as the Pulp helmet. RAF Mediterranean Theatre MKII Helmet

Extremely nice untouched example of a RAF MKII helmet which has a mediterranean, North African colour scheme. The chinstrap is named to an AC1 Evans. The liner is maker marked 'BMB" for Briggs Motor Bodies', size stamped 7 and dated 1940.  read more

A MKII helmet which is in extremely good condition. The helmet is actually a Home Defence helmet as indicated by the markings on the front of the shell, which has been removed.
