This is an Army M35 helmet, retaining over 75"% of its original finish. The decal has rubbed away with traces still visible. The shells batch number is 45 with a markers code Q for 'F.W. Quist GmbH. The liner has been replaced, which i suspect was done after 1945. The chinstrap has a very faint makers stamp. read more

East German M56/76 Helmet
This is the third version of the M56 helmet, which no longer has external liner rivets. The M56 helmet had its origins in WW2 where it was designed to replace the helmets worn by the military during WW2. However the design was rejected by Hitler on the grounds that the helmet being worn by the Wehrmacht was symbol of the German struggle. This example is in very good condtiion. read more

This is a Spanish M42/79, helmet which is based on the German M35. The early Spanish M42 helmets had a all leather liner and chinstrap. In 1979 the helmet's liner and chinstrap was changed hence the 79 designation. read more
