For sale to customers outside the European Union Only The Mle24/29 was introduced in 1928 and remained in service with the French army to the middle of the 1950's. During WW2 the German army used captured Mle24/29's principally on the Atlantic Wall and the Channel Island defences. The LMG was produced by two manufacturers Chatellerault and St.Etienne.
