German S84/98 Cavalry Bayonet Frog

A cavalry bayonet frog which differs from the standard bayonet frog by having a pommel retaining strap. An order ( HV39C.No119 ) dated 25th January 1939 stated the cavalry bayonet frog could be issued to all troops.
