British MKII Home Defence Helmet

This is MKII helmet, which was originally and army issue helmet but had been repainted black for use by volunteers of home defence organisations. This example is in very good condition retaining its original period repainted black finish with the underside of the shell still retaining its army brown finish.The liner is maker marked "BMB" for Briggs Motor Bodies, size stamped 7 and dated 1940.  read more

This the iconic red beret worn by British paratroopers. This example i believe is either late-WW2 or early Post-war made 1945 to 1950. It is in very good condition however it is a small size approximately a size 6.1/4.  read more

Canadian Ankle Boots

A pair of Canadian army issue ankle boots, which are in very good condition. The boots are maker marked "EDDELS" and dated 1945. Canadian army boots differ from British army boots by not having a toe cap. The boots are size stamped 8M ( medium ) and retains most of their hobnails.  read more

British 37 Pattern Battle Dress Trousers

These 37 pattern BD trousers where originally 40 pattern BD trousers which have had the pocket flaps altered to resemble 37 pattern trousers. The trousers are stamped size 9 ( 34" to 35" waist ). The legs have also been lengthened the original length of the legs are 27" with the extension giving the inside leg length to 32". The alterations was done by a re-enactor.  read more
