The RM-52 remote control unit was introduced in 1944 to replace the more bulky RM-29 remote control unit. It was more compact then RM-29 . It allowed for a radio to be connected to the phone net by attaching EE8-Field phone. The RM-29 remote control unit was for connecting a radio to a telephone net and would have been used for reporting observation data from a safe distance. This example is in excellent condition and was manufactured by The Crosley Corporation and is dated 1943. It comes in in canvas case with a leather bottom and shoulder strap.
