A 1943 dated M1938 map case which is maker marked Salvage-Molloy and has the original owners name. The map case would normally come with a plastic insert with red grid lines, which is missing. This is M1938 map case which is maker marked S.Froehlich.Co and dated 1955. This example is in OD7 green and retains its plastic insert with red grid lines. The carrying strap is not the pattern normally issued with the M1938 map case but standard auxiliary shoulder strap. The M1938 map case continued to be issued during the Vietnam war.  read more

A 1943 dated M1 ammunition bag which is maker marked A.P.Co. The M1 ammunition bag was designed to accommodate 11 rifle grenades or 28 hand grenades.
