A very nice example of a pre-war army officers breeches, which are steel grey in colour and dated 1938 and stamped with the letter "E" before the date, which identifies the town of manufacture as "Erfurt". U.S. Army High Neck Sweater
The high neck sweater was designed as part of the M1943 uniform. This example is actually post-war dated 1948. However it is identical to the war-time examples. The sweater retains it's contract label which gives the name of the manufacturer as "Rudolph Knitting Mills Inc" and dated 29th December 1945.
