This is a good example of the Motor Vehicle driver proficiency badge ( Das Kraftfahrbewahrungsabzeichen ) which was came in three grades bronze, silver and gold. The badge was awarded to drivers who under complicated and difficult conditions and maintained the up keep and care of the vehicles assigned to them.
