U.S. M1938 Mackinaw Coat
This is a U.S. Army Mackinaw coat, which is also known as the jeep jacket. The Mackinaw was first adopted into the U.S. army during WW1. This example is in good condition except for the belt, which has frayed on it's edges through use and a tare to the left shoulder. The jacket was produced by "J. Rissman & Son", size marked 36 regular and dated 24th December 1941 with a 1939 pattern date. read more
