This is a tropical issue A-9 flying helmet for the U.S. Army Airforce. The leather ear parts have dried and have started to come apart, however the the rest of the flying helmet is in good condition and would make a good restoration project. The helmet retains it's size label "Medium" and it's contract label.  read more
