The high neck sweater was introduced with the M1943 field uniform in 1943. This example has suffered with some very minor moth holes to the lower waist band, otherwise it is in good condition. A good example of M1943 wool serge trousers, which was introduced on 17th April 1943 . M1943 wool trousers have a gas flap which is of matching material to the rest of the Trousers. This is a 1941 dated RAF service tunic, which retains all of its insignia and is in excellent condition. The tunic has the rank of LAC ( Leading Aircraftman ) and has a good conduct chevron on the lower left sleeve, which was awarded to personal who have completed two years service without any disciplinary action. This is an Army M35 helmet, retaining over 75"% of its original finish. The decal has rubbed away with traces still visible. The shells batch number is 45 with a markers code Q for 'F.W. Quist GmbH. The liner has been replaced, which i suspect was done after 1945. The chinstrap has a very faint makers stamp.  read more
